About StashGamer
Hey — I'm Jax Calder. I'm the one actually sitting in the chairs, grinding through the early main scenario quests, and squinting at frame-time graphs so you don't have to.
StashGamer exists because I got tired of "Best Gaming Chair 2026" articles written by someone who clearly never sat in a single chair on the list, and beginner guides that read like a wiki page nobody actually played through. So I built the site I wanted to read: stuff I've genuinely used, games I've genuinely put hours into, written by someone who plays instead of skims a press kit.
What's here
- Guides — MMO/RPG and live-service breakdowns: what to pick, what to skip, and the mistakes that make people quit in week one.
- Reviews — chairs, peripherals and gear, tested over weeks of actual daily use, not a five-minute unboxing.
- Setup — PC builds and desk setups at different budgets, with real trade-offs instead of "just buy the most expensive one."
- News — patch notes and updates that actually matter, kept short on purpose.
No review goes up until I've actually spent time with the thing — weeks in a chair, hours in a build, a real playthrough of the content a guide covers. If I haven't used it, it doesn't get a verdict.
The honest part
StashGamer runs on display ads and affiliate links — if you buy something through a link here, I might earn a small commission at no extra cost to you. It doesn't change what I write; a product that isn't worth it gets said so, commission or not. Full details are in the legal notice.
Questions, tips, or think I got something wrong? contact@stashgamer.com — I read everything.
